Instructions and points of attention

Check that the energy meter is correctly connected to the CT (current transformer) before setting up the energy meter.

  • The white wire / S1 of the transformer must be connected to the + terminal of the energy meter.

  • The black wire / S2 of the transformer must be connected to the – terminal of the energy meter.

Attention!

If connected incorrectly, there is a possibility that the current will be measured incorrectly. For example, when you connect the black wire to the positive terminal of the energy meter.

Password validation

Description

Long press the E key to activate the setting mode.

A keyboard key labeled 'M' with an upward arrow indicating a function or action.

Set the password using the M and P keys.

The default password is 1000.

Directional arrows indicating movement or flow related to the letter E symbol.

 Long press the E key to confirm the password.

If the password is correct, you will be taken to the slave-id menu.

Hint!

Any change in the settings is saved by holding down the E key for 3 seconds.

Long press the E key to activate the setting mode.

The meter has two communication address modes:

  • Only: there is only 1 address for the whole meter and all channels use the same communication address.

  • Multiple: there are 4 or 3 or 2 different communication addresses for different channels.

 Long press the E key to activate the setting mode.


Use the M and P keys to set the communication address:

  • 1: means one communication address.

  • M*: means multiple communication addresses. It can be 2 or 3 or 4. This depends on the meter you have for double loads, triple taxes, or quadruple taxes.

Long press the E key to confirm.

Single Communications Mode

Use the M and P keys to set the communication address.

Address range: 001~247 (default 001).

Multi-Communications Mode

Long press E key to activate the setting mode.

Press the M and P keys to choose the channel to be set (CH01-CH04).

Press the M and P keys to set the address.

Address range: 001~247 (default 001).

Long press the E key to confirm.

CT Clamp Setting

Long press E key to activate the setting mode.

Press the M and P keys to choose the channel to be set (CH01-CH04).

Long press the E key to enter the setting interface of CT1 of each stage.

Press the M and P keys to select the phase (L1, L2, L3).

Long press the E key to enter the setting interface of CT1.

Press the M and P key to set the CT1 value.

CT1 range: 1~9999 A (default 100 A).

Long press the E key to confirm.

Attention!

To avoid errors in the energy measurement, the P1 port of the CT must be pointed towards the power supply. However, if the P2 port is facing the power supply, you can still correct it using the energy meter settings.
