Scheduler

The Scheduler allows you to automatically execute actions or tasks at a specific time or on a recurring basis.
You can use the Scheduler to:

  • Trigger actions on assets

  • Automate recurring tasks

  • Schedule calibrations

  • Reduce manual intervention

Scheduler overview

The Scheduler is displayed as a planner view.

Weekly schedule displaying reboot tasks for various systems throughout the week.

  • Each row represents a time slot

  • Each column represents a day

  • Scheduled items are shown as blocks in the planner

  • The color of a schedule helps distinguish different schedules

To create a new schedule, simply double-click in the planner at the desired time.

Company vs. Current Project

When creating a schedule, you must choose the level at which the schedule applies.

Company

  • Applies across the entire company

  • Can be used for multiple projects

  • Only visible and editable for users with company-level access

Current Project

  • Applies only to the selected project

  • Used for project-specific automation

  • Visible and editable for users with access to that project

Choose the level carefully, depending on whether the schedule should apply globally or only within one project.
