Assigning notifications

Prev Next

Notifications are assigned to users so they receive updates for the assets that are relevant to them. By linking users to specific assets and assigning a notification role, you control which notifications they receive and for which assets or asset groups.

In most cases, notification roles have already been created. This means that assigning notifications mainly consists of selecting the correct assets, selecting the correct users, and linking the appropriate notification role to them.
