Meaning of LEDs on C07W

The C07W has 5 LEDs on the front panel that indicate the status of the gateway.

Power LED

Indicates the status of the power supply:

  • Green (continuous): the power supply of the C07W gateway is fine.

  • Off: the internal parts of the C07W are not powered.

If this LED does not light up, you can try the following:

  • Check that the power supply is properly connected to a power outlet;

  • Check the cabling from the power supply to the C07W;

  • Check the output voltage of the power supply;

  • The internal fuse of the C07W may have blown and needs to be replaced by Calculus.

Status LED

Overall Gateway Status:

  • Green (flashing): the C07W is booting up.

  • Green (continuous): the C07W has finished powering up and is running normally.

Connected LED

Connection strength to the Calculus cloud:

  • Red (solid): the C07W has lost its connection to the cloud.

  • Red (flashing): the C07W is not connected, and is waiting for an internet connection.

  • Green (flashing): the C07W is connected to the cloud and is trying to synchronize its internal clock.

  • Green (continuous): the C07W is connected to the cloud with a synchronized clock.

  • Orange (pulsing): a measurement or event is being sent to the cloud.

Expansion 1 & 2 LED

Attention!

The LED indicators differ per expansion card:

  • Modbus

  • Lora

  • LTE Modem

Status of expansion card in slots 1 & 2:

  • Red (solid): the C07W has detected an expansion card and is booting the card.

  • Red (flashing): an error has occurred on the expansion card.

LTE Modem:

  • Red: the modem doesn't have an internet connection.

  • Orange (flashing): the modem is not yet registered in the mobile network, but is trying to register (0.5 seconds orange / 0.5 seconds red).

  • Orange (pulsing): the modem has been successfully registered in the mobile network, but does not yet have an internet connection (0.3 seconds orange / 2.7 seconds red).

  • Green (pulsing): the modem is connected to the internet (red for 0.3 seconds / off for 2.7 seconds).

Modbus RTU+:

  • Off: normal operation.

LoRa concentrator:

  • Off: normal operation, no LoRa packet received in the current session yet.

  • Green (flashing): LoRa packet received.

  • Green (continuous): normal operation, received at least 1 LoRa packet in the current session.
