General information
The C07W gateway has 3 antenna connectors:
LTE connector with red marking.
GPS connector with blue marking.
WiFi connector with yellow marking.
The antenna connectors are connected to the SMA connectors of the C07W gateway as shown below.
Always make the connections after mounting the gateway on the DIN rail.
Attention!
The torque of the antenna connectors: 0.3 – 0.5 Nm. Tightening recommended by hand, not with an open-end wrench.
If there is not enough space for an upright antenna connector, please contact Calculus for 90° SMA connectors.
Types of antennas
Calculus uses 2 types of antennas for the C07W gateway:
A flat version.
A spherical version.
Points of attention for a good reception:
The spherical antenna requires a metal surface, the flat antenna can be mounted on any surface.
Antennas should be mounted horizontally and pointed upwards without high metal obstacles within a radius of 0.5m.
Antenna cables should be as short as possible to minimize reception losses. Calculus provides standard lengths of 2m. In exceptional cases, 3m can also be provided, or an extension, but this will result in signal-loss.
