This article explains what the front panel LEDs on the C06W and C07W gateways mean and what to do if the LED behavior is unexpected.
Both gateways use the same software and internal hardware and therefore share identical LED behavior.
Power LED
The power LED indicates the status of the power supply for the C06W and C07W.
Normal operation
Green (solid)
The gateway is powered and working normally.
If something is wrong
Off
The gateway is not receiving power.
Recommended steps to resolve issues
Check that the power supply is firmly connected to both the gateway and the power outlet.
Verify that the power outlet is working.
Inspect the power cable for visible damage.
Make sure the power supply provides the correct voltage (12 - 24 V DC).
If the gateway still does not power on, contact technical support.
Status LED
The status LED indicates the overall gateway status of the C06W and C07W.
Normal operation
Green (blinking)
The gateway is starting up.Green (solid)
The gateway is working normally.Red–Orange (blinking)
The gateway is restarting automatically.
If something is wrong
Red (solid)
The gateway has detected a problem and is restarting automatically.
What you can do
Wait a few minutes to see if the gateway recovers on its own. The gateway tries to restart every 30 minutes.
Ensure the gateway has sufficient ventilation and is not placed near heat sources.
Inspect the cables for visible damage.
If the red light remains on for a long time, restart the gateway by unplugging and reconnecting the power.
Contact technical support if the issue continues.
Connected LED
The connected LED indicates the connection status of the C06W and C07W to the cloud.
Normal operation
Red (blinking)
The gateway is currently not connected, but is waiting for an internet connection.Green (blinking)
The gateway is connecting to the cloud and trying to synchronize its internal clock.Green (solid)
The gateway is connected to the cloud.Orange (blinking)
A measurement, event or alarm is being uploaded to the cloud.
If something is wrong
Red (solid)
The gateway is not connected to the cloud.
What you can do
Check that the internet connection is available.
Verify network cables and mobile signal coverage.
Restart the gateway.
Contact technical support if the issue continues.
Expansion 1 & 2 LED
The LED indicators for Expansion 1 and Expansion 2 on the C07W will differ depending on the installed expansion card.
Expansion cards can include an LTE modem, Modbus interface, or LoRa concentrator.
Normal operation
Off
No expansion card detected or the gateway is still starting up.Red (solid)
The expansion card is being initialized.
If something is wrong
Red (blinking)
There is a problem with the expansion card.
What you can do
Restart the gateway.
Ensure the expansion card is properly installed.
Contact technical support if the issue continues.
Modem LTE
The Modem LTE LED indicates the connection status of the C06W with a mobile network.
Modem LTE is default for the C06W and can be an expansion card for the C07W.
If something is wrong
Green (pulsing)
The modem has an active internet connection.Orange (blinking)
The modem is connecting to a mobile network.Orange (pulsing)
The modem is connected to a mobile network but internet access is not yet available.
Problem indication
Red (solid)
No internet connection is available.
What you can do
Check mobile network coverage.
Ensure the SIM card is active.
Check that the SIM card is clean and properly inserted.
Restart the gateway.
Contact support if the issue continues.
Modbus RTU+
The RS-485 LED indicates modbus status of the C06W.
RS-485 is default for the C06W. Modbus is available as an expansion card for the C07W.
Normal operation
Off
The Modbus interface is operating normally.
What you can do
If communication issues occur, verify cabling and connected devices.
LoRa concentrator
LoRa is not available for the C06W. It is only available as an expansion card for the C07W.
Normal operation
Off
Normal operation, no LoRa messages have been received yet.Green (blinking)
A LoRa message has been received.Green (solid)
At least one LoRa message has been received.
What you can do
If LoRa data is expected but not received, verify the connected devices and configuration.
