Introduction

A pie is a chart that shows the relative contribution of different parts to a total.
Each segment represent the contribution of a part as a percentage of the whole.

Instructions

In the widget selection panel, click on Pie. A new panel will appear where you can configure the widget.

Press the Add Sensors button, select the sensors you want to include in the chart, and click Save.

Fill in the fields below:

  • Decimals: up to how many decimal places the value should be displayed.

  • Unit of measurement: the unit for the measured value.

  • Show string data: enable this if the measurement data is a string.

Click Next to go to Pie settings.

Fill in the fields below:

  • Title: a title or description for the widget.

  • Widget width: the width of the widget, as a factor of the total screen width.

  • Height: the height of the widget in pixels.

  • Order: the position on the dashboard.

  • Refresh in seconds: leave this at the default.

Color Settings

Fill in the fields below:

  • Color scheme: choose a color palette for the chart.

Click Save to add the widget to the dashboard.
