Introduction
A heat map is a graphical representation of measured values in which they are displayed in a grid.
The color of the data depends on the measured value.
Instructions
In the widget selection panel, click on Heatmap. A new panel will appear where you can configure the widget.
Heat map data
Fill in the fields below:
Fake data: generates a set of simulated data, useful for configuring widgets when the sensor is not yet sending measurements.
Computed measurement: if enabled, you can use a formula to determine the value shown.
DataSource: where the data comes from.
Sensor: what data you want to display.
Aggregation: the aggregation of the incoming data.
MIN: shows the minimum value.
MAX: shows the maximum value.
SUM: calculates the sum of all values.
AVG: calculates the average value.
COUNT: counts the number of values.
FIRST: shows the first value.
LAST: shows the last value.
DIFF: calculates the difference between the first and last value.
Label: a description displayed when hovering over a value.
Decimals: up to how many decimal places the measured value should be displayed.
Unit of measurement: the unit for the measured value.
Click Next to go to Heat Map Settings.

Fill in the fields below:
Title: a title or description for the widget.
Widget width: the width of the widget, as a factor of the total screen width.
Height: the height of the widget in pixels.
Text color: click on the drop icon to choose a color for the shown value.
Minimum color: click on the drop icon to choose a color for the lowest value.
Maximum color: click on the drop icon to choose a color for the highest value.
Minimum value (optional): if specified, limits the lowest value to this value.
Maximum value (optional): if specified, limits the highest value to this value.
Order: the position on the dashboard.
Refresh in seconds: leave this at the default.
Show label: Data:

Folow date range: if selected, data is shown for the time span selected in the dashboard.
Always show last 7 days: if selected, data is shown for the last 7 days.
Click Save to add the widget to the dashboard.
