Introduction

A guide to installing C06 gateways in DEIF AGC-200 controllers, or when you replace a C04 with a C06 and want to keep historical data.

Register Gateway

Modbus RTU

  • Gateway type: Genset (AGC 200 over RS-485)

  • Slave ID: 10

  • Baud rate: 9600

Modbus TCP/IP

  • Gateway type: Genset (AGC 200 over ethernet)

  • Controller IP address: 192.168.2.20

Modify asset

Go to the current asset whose gateway you want to switch, and then to the Data Sources panel.

The Switch databron button is visible

Press the Switch Data Source button.
Enter the serial number of the new gateway (in the With: field) and press Swap.
A new window will open where you can check the changes again.
Click Confirm for the changes to take effect.
If the conversion cannot be carried out 100% successfully, you will also receive a notification.
The data sources where this has not been possible must be filled in manually (see the next section).

Filling in data sources manually

Click the edit button of the data source. This is located to the right of the data source name and looks like a pencil.
Click on the Add data source button at the bottom right of this screen.
By hovering your mouse over a data source (do not click), the raw address appears in a black bar with the Slave ID at the end.
When adding a new data source, you adjust the Start date to when the new gateway was built-in.
Adjust the other data source (from the old gateway) as well, specify an end date here.
This is the date when the gateway was replaced.
After this, press Save.
