Calculus Map widget

Introduction

A Calculus Map widget displays the locations of one or more gateways.
If desired, the map also shows the movements of these gateways.

When you click on a asset indicator (colored dot), a window appears with the following content:

  • The asset indicator and the name of the asset.

  • Information about favorite sensors, if you have set them.

  • A link to the directions.

  • A link to the details dashboard.


Instructions

In the widget selection panel, click on Calculus Map. A new panel will appear where you can configure the widget.

Settings

Fill in the fields below:

  • Map type: choose from the types below.

    • Satellite:

    • Terrain:

    • Roadmap:

    • Hybrid:

  • Widget width: the width in relation to the screen width.

  • Height: the height of the widget in pixels.

  • Line color:

  • Order: the position on the dashboard.

  • Calculus map mode: choose from the modes listed below.

    • Track and Trace:

    • Show assets:

  • Use clustering:

  • Always show labels:

  • Use asset group colors: if enabled, assets will be colored as defined in the asset group.

  • Show Traffic Layer:

Click Next to go to Location.

Location

Fill in the fields below:

  • Override location:

  • Address/Location: a physical address, or a GPS coordinate that you can look up using the Get location button.

  • Max zoom: how close you can zoom in on the map.

Click Save to add the widget to the dashboard.
