Project groups

Prev Next

Assets that belong to the same group are shown together in the dashboard menu under the name of that project group. For example, you can create a project group called Heaters to group all heating-related assets together.
You can also create groups that contain a combination of different asset types. These are called mixed groups. A common example is grouping all assets that belong to the same home or location.

Create a project group

Click Assets in the navigation menu.
Then click Add and choose Add Asset Group.

A panel will appear where you can fill in the basic details of the project group:

  • Name
The name of the project group.

  • Type
The type of assets that you want to put in the project group.

  • Color
A color for this project group that will be shown on the home dashboard.

You can set the color of the asset indicator(s) using the drop icon in the Color field.
