Action Button widget

If a device also accepts input, you can add an action button that allows you to send a command to this device.
Since this is a complicated widget to set up, we are happy to do this for you. Please contact us at help@calculus.group.

Widget control elements

The action button widget contains a clickable button, and a status indicator or other readout next to it.
Depending on how this button is configured, it initiates an action when pressed, and displays the status next to it.

Widget configuration panel

In the widget selection panel, click on Action Button. A new panel will appear where you can configure the widget.

Action button data

Fill in the fields below:

• Action
  Choose a pre-defined action.

• Editable
  If enabled, allows the user to enter a custom value.

• Is a toggle action
  If enabled, lets you define separate values for ON and OFF.

• Action Value
  The value to be sent when the action button is clicked.

• Decimals
  Up to how many decimal places the value should be displayed.

• Use a factor
  If enabled, you can specify a multiplier and a unit.

Click Next to go to the Action button settings.

Fill in the fields below:

• Title
  A title or description for the widget.

• Widget width
  The width in relation to the screen width.

• Height
  The height of the widget in pixels.

• Icon
  Choose a decorative icon for the widget.

• Prefix
  A prefix for the measurement.

• Suffix
  A suffix for the measurement.

• Order
  The position on the dashboard.

Click Save to add the widget to the dashboard.
