Users can be assigned a different set of permissions, on a project-per-project basis. This prevents unauthorized access to sensitive data and operations.
Check a user’s permissions
Click Users in the navigation menu and go to the Project Users tab.
Click on the user whose permissions you want to view or change. In the Edit User panel, click on the Project Rights tab to inspect the user’s permissions.
Hint!
Please note that if a user is added at the company level, the user will be visible in all your projects.
Manage a user's permissions
There are several ways to change a user's permissions:
via the company or project tab via the Users page;
via the user tab via the Companies page;
via the user tab via the Projects page.
Manage permissions from the Edit User panel
In the Edit User panel, go to the Project Rights tab. Use the search bar to look up the project that this user is part of.
Attention!
The rights displayed in light gray are rights that you do not have yourself, but that the user has. You can't remove from or add permissions to a user that you don't own.
Click Add Rights.
If the user has all assignable rights, the message Has all available rights will appear. If not, a list of assignable rights will appear.
Hint!
You have the option to grant or remove all rights at once in the selection field.
To remove a user right, click on the cross icon.
Manage permissions via the projects page
On the Projects page, search for the project for which you want to manage user permissions.
Click the project name to open the Edit Project panel and go to the Users tab.
Enter the name of the user in the search field. You will then see the permissions that this user has.
You can edit the permissions on these pages the same way you would through the Users page.
